OpenAI's chief technology officer Mira Murati has announced her departure from the company, marking the latest high-profile exit from the Microsoft-backed AI firm. Murati, who briefly served as interim CEO during last year's leadership turmoil, cited a desire for personal exploration after six and a half years at OpenAI. Her resignation follows the departures of founders Ilya Sutskever and John Schulman earlier this year.
